Terms that do not bend

Sponsor escrow, fixed bond, equal stake, five doors, immutable windows, a two-door threshold, and a cooldown that never consumes QUIET.

Sponsor escrow
A finite WETH prize is deposited before the season opens. It sits in view. It is not minted QUIET.
Fixed bond
Every entry escrows the same protocol-fixed QUIET amount: 1/50,000 of the 91,703,261 supply.
Equal stake
The same entry also escrows an equal WETH stake. Bond and stake travel together.
Five doors
A season contains five closed doors. A commit names one door with a salt. Counts stay unpublished.
Phase deadlines
Commit, then reveal, then settlement. Each window is immutable once the season is configured.
Populated-door threshold
At least two doors must carry a revealed entry. Otherwise stakes return and the prize is reclaimable.
Cooldown
QUIET principal always returns after settlement. A non-reveal bond waits through one extra immutable cooldown.
Verifiable result
The winner set is the least-populated nonempty door, or every door tied for that minimum. No ruling is added.

Commit

A sealing press

Each entry locks the same small QUIET bond and an equal WETH stake, then privately commits to a salted door. The chamber records a mark. It does not announce a count.

Hold the press. The seal is the commitment, not a vote and not a wager on an outside fact.

Unsealed. Bond and stake remain in hand.

Reveal

A sliding paper

After the commit window closes, a valid reveal names the door that was sealed. Late or missing reveals do not invent a winner. Their WETH joins the prize; their QUIET waits one extra cooldown.

Settlement

Place anonymous marks. The quietest occupied door takes the prize and the revealed stakes, split by winning entry. Ties share. This is a local demonstration of the rule, not a live season.

What the chamber will and will not do

Escrow the fixed QUIET bond and an equal WETH stake. Name one of five doors with a salt. The bond is inventory, not a fee.

Publish the salt and the door while the reveal window is open. An unrevealed entry never joins the winner set.

Among nonempty revealed doors, the least populated wins. Equally least-populated doors share the winner set.

Winners split the sponsor prize and all revealed stakes pro rata by winning entry. There is no protocol fee.

Every QUIET bond returns after settlement. Non-reveal bonds merely endure one additional immutable cooldown.

No oracle, randomness, treasury, administrator, per-wallet limit, or discretionary outcome exists in the season.

Plain-language failure states

When the season does not pay a winner

  1. Fewer than two doors populated

    Stakes return to the entries that posted them. The sponsor may reclaim the prize. QUIET bonds still return.

  2. A commitment is not revealed

    That entry is not a winner. Its WETH stake joins the prize. Its QUIET bond waits through one extra cooldown, then returns.

  3. A reveal is invalid or late

    The sealed door is not counted. The same non-reveal path applies. The chamber does not invent a substitute door.

  4. A tie at the quietest occupied door

    This is not a failure. Every door that shares the least nonempty population is in the winner set.

Fork-proof panel

Every outcome is a function of onchain inputs

  1. Inputs Revealed (door, entry) pairs. Sponsor WETH remaining. Revealed stake total. Phase timestamps. Configured bond.
  2. Filter Drop unrevealed and invalid entries. Count occupied doors. Count revealed entries behind each door.
  3. Threshold If occupied doors < 2, route stakes back and mark the prize reclaimable. Stop.
  4. Minimum Among occupied doors, take the smallest revealed population. Collect every door at that minimum.
  5. Split Winner set receives sponsor prize plus revealed stakes, pro rata by winning entry. No remainder is kept.
  6. Bonds Return every QUIET bond. If an entry never revealed, delay that return by the immutable cooldown.

Nothing external is predicted or judged. No token is consumed to signal. The only fact settled is the revealed distribution created by the players themselves.

Token-only opening range

The named market is QUIET paired with WETH. Genesis liquidity is token-only: the concentrated range is seeded with QUIET and exactly 0 WETH. After token construction, external LaunchOps mints the NFPM position through the launch wallet. That wallet receives the NFT and alone may decrease liquidity, collect, or burn. The token never owns, stores, recovers, or exposes recovery for the tokenId.

Undertone turns coordinated restraint into a transparent minority game. A sponsor places a finite WETH prize behind five doors for a fixed commit/reveal season. Each entry locks the same small, protocol-fixed QUIET bond and an equal WETH stake, then privately commits to a salted door. After reveal, the least-populated nonempty door—or tied doors—defines the winners, who split the sponsor prize and revealed stakes by winning entry. If fewer than two doors are populated, stakes return and the sponsor can reclaim the prize. QUIET principal always returns after settlement; only non-reveal bonds wait through one extra immutable cooldown, while non-reveal WETH joins the prize. No oracle, randomness, fee, treasury, administrator, wallet cap, or discretionary ruling exists. The immutable fixed-supply ERC20 and season logic are separated into purposeful, bounded modules for escrow, commitments, deterministic settlement, and cooldown accounting, keeping the design auditable, non-extractive, hidden-wallet-compatible, and plausibly fork-provable. Future sponsored seasons could create repeat demand for QUIET because every simultaneous entry must lock a bond, but participation and commercial interest are possibilities, not assumptions.
